Opis projektu:
Celem projektu jest zapoznanie współczesnej młodzieży z unikalnym zjawiskiem kulturowym z okresu socjalizmu jakim w krajach Grupy Wyszehradzkiej był kontrkulturowy ruch muzyczny reprezentowany przez takich muzyków i autorów tekstów jak: Karel Kryl, Jacek Kleyff czy Zuzana Homolov. Nieformalne metody edukacyjne stosowane w projekcie pozwolą młodym ludziom lepiej zrozumieć historię i wartości demokratyczne.
W ramach projektu zostaną zorganizowane następujące działania adresowane do młodych osób:
- Warsztaty kreatywnego pisania piosenek
- Wystawa multimedialna prezentująca twórczość wybitnych piosenkarzy i autorów tekstów zza Żelaznej Kurtyny, tzw. „bardów” oraz rolę ich twórczości w kontekście społecznym i historycznym.
- Międzynarodowy Młodzieżowy Festiwal Muzyczny w Budapeszcie (twórczość muzyczna współczesnych młodych osób i ich reinterpretacji dziedzictwa „bardów”).

Project Duration: 15 months, starting on June 1, 2026
Project Description:
The aim of the project is to introduce contemporary young people to a unique cultural phenomenon from the socialist period — the countercultural music movement in the Visegrád Group countries, represented by musicians and songwriters such as Karel Kryl, Jacek Kleyff, and Zuzana Homolová. The non-formal educational methods used in the project will help young people better understand history and democratic values.
As part of the project, the following activities aimed at young people will be organized:
- Creative songwriting workshops
- A multimedia exhibition presenting the work of outstanding singers and lyricists from behind the Iron Curtain, the so-called “bards,” and the role of their artistic work in its social and historical context
- An International Youth Music Festival in Budapest featuring the musical creations of contemporary young people and their reinterpretations of the heritage of the “bards”
